- pretty good view of thousands of tulips and truly one of a kind for parents
- only lasts in march and april (very seasonal)
- traffic increases during the peak weekends
- the field is open, can get a bit hotter at late noon

- my mom loves to shop things and this is the best place to explore and buy stuffs in a single place

- just to buy some apple stuff and kept it here to make my itinerary complete
- don’t have any specific recommendations yet
- definitely take a walk in the downtown and watch the bridge built on the williamette river

bainbridge island
- good place for visit if you don’t have a car
- the ferry ride is pretty amazing and it’s cheap – 10$ per person round trip
- lot of good place nearby after docking – helps if you’re not driving
- with car you can explore a bit more

golden gardens beach
- pretty clean beach
- summer can be a pretty good place if you want to see sealions pretty close – they are almost sleeping on the pier
- lot more happening beach and can stand in the beach with water gushing your feet
- lot of folks are playing games

snowqualmie falls
- 30 min drive from seattle is the best thing that you can do
- not a whole lot of things there if you are visiting with parents
- a real architectural marvel to understand the world’s fully underground hydro-electric power plant.
- the views are pretty mesmering and the informational poster right opposite to the plant adds to it

gas works park
- really good place to hang out around sunset
- a lot more active than an usual park. folks working out, playing outdoor games, running, dogs, paintings, kayaking, relaxing etc
- the evening time is solid where you can see the golden hour with the hue of the sunset glows the whole skyline
- it’s a good view point if you really want to see the night skyline and gives a straight view to it.

woodland zoo
- not too far from the main city
- doesn’t have a lot of animals during summer, but i had a pretty good experience during the winter where i saw snow leopards and other animals
- parking is not easy always
- but on weekends, can take the place of school bus – this was really helpful

- if you’re interested in learning more about locks, this is the place to go.
- adds a round trip from seattle waterfront to slu.
- the guy is pretty experienced and talks about way too underrated things
- pretty solid if you’re into understanding the culture of seattle

space needle
- one of the best views of the whole seattle and it’s downtown
- one of a kind of revolving floor on the top
- prefer to go in the evening and the sunset views are really amazing
- the view of golden skyscrapper, the south lake union and the pretty mountains keeps you engaged

- the glass show/workshop is really one of a kind – i would go pay to see the show again
- the beautiful showcase of glasses with it’s vibrant color is pretty good
- really extends your imagination with the things that could be done using glass and colors

- pretty good exposure to different kinds of sea life
- the extension showing octopus, sea otters, sea lions and sharks are pretty interesting
- lot of knowledge gained from the different kinds of fish
- the inverted picture of world – water is everywhere and the lands are something that are spread sparse – is very interesting
- the experience of touching the sea animals – urchins, sea cucumbers – is very fun

- can be visited almost anytime
- very lively during summer time
- lot of people and really nice place to walk and enjoy the pier

kerry park
- want to see the skyline along with a closer shot of the space needle, then this is the place to be.
- not a whole lot of things to do around here
- the night sometimes gets really cold due to it’s elevation on queen anne
- if you’re interested in architecture, this place hold some of the best houses in seattle in terms of architectural density

- the architecture is good with different structure to explore
- not a huge hassle of parking if you’re visiting in a bit off hours.
- cherry blossoms are pretty amazing in the month of feb-apr

- even if it’s made in 1891, it comprises of some really nicely build structures
- pretty open campus to explore
- it’s even better if you have someone from seattle university to show around

- again, this is good if your parents are religious
- i m from odisha, wanted to see my regional god here – jagannath
- the temple looks small, but has some pretty big form of deities

- very famous market of seattle
- should be cheaper but because of the tourist footfall, it’s pretty pricey
- lot of things available to explore

- same experience as above
- the farm to table is a pretty common experience if you’re coming from india or china, but somehow a luxury here
- the prices are like easily 3-4x of the prices outside
- good way to explore new things
